Queensland Account Manager (October 2008) :: POSITION FILLED

As part of our strategy for growth we have created a new role for representation based in Brisbane to service Queensland and surrounds.
If you are an energetic and enthusiastic person who is friendly, independent, self motivated, passionate, has excellent communication skills and is driven to succeed, is punctual and likes to smile, then we want to talk to you.
The role will involve maintaining and developing our relationships with established key architectural and design companies and investigating new related market opportunities.
You will need to have a proven track record in sales with designers and developers of the shopping centre industry, public authorities and commercial developers and have some technical knowledge in product design and site installations of fixed furniture.
The remuneration package will be commensurate with experience and will be bolstered with bonuses based on personal KPIs.

botton & gardiner urban furniture is currently looking for a part-time Design Assistant at our Alexandria office to play a vital role in the design and manufacture of our distinctive range of furniture products for the shopping centre, hospitality and public amenity industries.
This is a new position available immediately.
Primary role will consist of:
- CAD drafting of proprietary products and shop drawings for custom fit-outs.
- General maintenance of CAD files
- Assisting the design development manager with product development
- Assistance with product/project assembly and prototyping
Skills required include:
- Computer skills in CAD ? SolidEdge or similar
- Basic knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop
- Microsoft office
- Strong communication skills
- Practical hands-on approach and ability to design and prototyping.
- Willingness to learn purchasing database system

Botton & Gardiner Urban Furniture is currently looking for an Internal Sales Support person at our Alexandria office to play a vital role in the sales of our distinctive range of furniture products for the shopping centre, hospitality and public amenity industries.
If you are the person we are looking for you will be friendly, confident, enthusiastic, conscientious, well focused, courteous, assertive, mature, well presented, punctual and be meticulous in your attention to detail. You will love coming to work and feel proud of all your achievements.
You responsibilities will be to support the sales team by managing enquiries and collate marketing data for analysis and reporting of market activity. Your professional handling of this role is crucial to the success of your colleagues. There is scope for a capable individual to add value by researching future business opportunities through media and online reports and reporting to the sales team for analysis.
Some training/experience in design, ability to read architectural plans and drawings, experience in communicating with architects and designers are desirable. A passion for sales success and excellent communication skills are essential. Full training in product knowledge and any relevant external training courses will be provided and there is potential for career progression.
