The company

botton + gardiner is an Australian design and manufacturing company specialising in quality furniture and fixtures for public authorities, shopping centres, accomodation and hospitality industries. botton + gardiner was established in January 1995 by designer, Mike Botton and sales and marketing consultant, Carol Gardiner. Since that time botton + gardiner has successfully gained a significant position in the marketplace for delivery of a high standard of product and service.

Product range

The range of Australian designed and manufactured products includes bench seating, banquette seating, planters, litter bins, tree guards, bollards and cafe and restaurant dining tables and chairs suitable for external and internal applications. Our furniture can be found in shopping centres and council parklands through to corporate breakout and meeting spaces and five star hotels. Our flagship products are distinguished by the combination of corrosion resistant, durable and eco-friendly products manufactured in Australia but our range has expanded to include the best offerings from Italy, Spain and beyond. The market

botton & gardiner’s portfolio includes a significant number of furniture installations in landmark public projects including Bicentennial Park at the Homebush Bay Olympic Precinct, Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens, Sydney International Air Terminal, Canberra Civic Bus Interchange and Sydney Central Station. botton & gardiner is a preferred supplier to a number of municipal councils across the nation as well as being endorsed by the NSW Department of Commerce Government Contract.

The company has been able to sustain its sales and manufacturing capability by developing a diverse client base which extends beyond government authorities to major retail developers and the accommodation industry. botton & gardiner is a preferred supplier to Westfield, Lend Lease, Federation Centres, Coles Myer, AMP, Suncorp, Stockland, Mirvac and QIC. In hospitality, botton + gardiner products lend their distinctive character to hotels and restaurants designed by leading architects and interior designers.

Exports

In 1999 botton + gardiner began its export initiatives with two food courts in Singapore's Jurong Point. The preferred supplier contract with Westfield allowed botton + gardiner to introduce its product into two projects in the USA: South County, St Louis and Plaza Bonita, San Diego as well as several centres in New Zealand.

In 2001 botton + gardiner established its Japan Office under the direction of Luke Gardiner, an expatriate Australian, living in Nagoya. In 2003 botton + gardiner delivered its biggest project ever in the form of three eateries for Taiwan's premier retail centre and the world's tallest building, Taipei 101.
